The name 6 degrees,
is based on a mathematical theory, " Six Degrees of Separation", created by US psychologist, Stanley Milgram. His
theory first came out in 1967, stating that "all persons on earth are only separated by 6 people... that all persons
are only 6 people away from knowing each other." For example, they say in major metropolitan cities, like San Francisco,
you know everyone in the city by only 3 links [or people]. The theory also states that most people, including you, are 6 steps
away from knowing legendary individuals like Nelson Mandela.
